Ferosh A/W’14 Trend Report: Call of the Wild!

Photographer | Linda Reddevil

Style Theme | Animal Kingdom

Ferosh Volume 1 | Page 316

“Rawr! The call of the wild was evident on the runways of the Autumn Winter Collections 2014/15. Animals of all kinds were embroidered, printed, and collaged onto every type of garment. Gone are the days of animal print conjuring up images of the local dive in the Eighties. This theme has been given a new lease of life using luxury fabrics, intricate patterns, new colours and manipulated on everything from coats to leggings, shoes to piping detail.  The flirty feline pattern appeared at Céline as a sumptuous coat and as a cute dress at Chloé. Butterfly and snakeskin prints worked beautifully together in intricate detail on pieces by Givenchy. In Second Life ® we can hunt down pieces for this theme at Remarkable Oblivion, Revenge and The Secret Store.” – Kerasia Hexicola
